A is for Rice Art

We are teaching our two year old the alphabet, one letter at a time; while learning new art projects that develop fine motor skills, eye hand coordination, creativity, and dexterity.

Letter "A"
For Letter "A" we did a Rice Art Project.
To do this project, put uncooked white instant rice in different bags. Then, add some rubbing alcohol and food coloring. Let your toddler shake, shake, shake it! After shaking it to your color preference, let the rice sit out over night in the bags to dry.
When ready to create, pore glue where you want the rice to stick on the paper and let your toddler go crazy!

What awesome colored rice confetti.
