The Three Little Pigs
It was fun learning about the Three Little Pigs this week. Some of our preschool activities are listed below. Pigs are so cute with their pink faces, curly tails, snouts, and big blue eyes. It's no wonder why the wolf wanted to blow their houses down. The Big Bad Wolf wanted some bacon!

Pig Books
We got some "Three Little Pig" books at the library.
This "Three Little Pigs" by Steven Kellogg has a new twist to the story with a family of waffle makers. The pigs have a family waffle business and the wolf still threatens to blow their homes down.
"The Three Pigs" by David Wiesner is a Caldecott Medal-winning picture book.
The pigs run out of the story into a world of imagination and rescue a dragon from being slain by a knight in shining armor. They finally return to the brick home and fight the big bad wolf with their new friend dragon.

We printed some "Three Little Pig" coloring pages for our kids to color.
Three Little Pig Maze
We practiced writing uppercase and lowercase P, I, and G, while teaching her how to spell the word PIG.
Hide and Seek Piggy
My oldest daughter colored a bunch of little pigs and hid them around the house for me to find.
Our FHE lesson was on Helaman 5:12 and how it related to the Three Little Pigs.
"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."
